From gauge cludter to 66 Charger radio

November 10, 2024

Although I have not installed my 66 Dodge Charger guages yet to car still at Body and Paint, Todd was very responsive in contacting me from receiving the cluster to progress along the way. Several times he would send pics of the restoration in progress…. Our gauge clusters are unique and require much attention to detail. Im confident that once hooked up, my gauge will be good as new…… maybe even better…!!!!

Once i had the cluster restored, I sent Todd my 66 Charger radio… EL lighting…. again Todd was upfront and provided progress during its restoration….. I cant wait to start putting this car back together…! thank you Todd.

Top notch services!

Roads and his skills are a rarity these days. These days most replace or upgrade parts on old muscle cars because it is easier or the only option you have as either parts or someone with the time knowledge and tools do not exist. We are very fortunate to have someone such as Todd who still has the tools, knowledge, and time that he allocates to keep these cars functional. Thanks again Todd for the OUTSTANDING work and craftsmanship as well as the camaraderie.

Headlight Motors

May 19, 2024

I brought my 66 Charger headlight motors to Todds Restorations to have them repaired. I live in town so I personally brought them to him.

Upon meeting him I felt I came to the right person. He explained how the motors work to me so I could understand why the motors weren’t working. He brought me to his workbench, I got to see the “Bat Cave” of 1st gen Charger electronics. He took one of the motors apart to and showed me that this motor actually caught fire because someone jumped the circuit breaker.

A day or 2 after our initial meeting He started work on my motors, sending me pictures along the way. He communicated the process verbally and with pictures during the process. Unfortunately my motors could not be rebuilt but he located a couple of donor motors and sent them out for new windings.

A few weeks later I picked up new motors, he bench tested them in front of me, explained to me the process and how to reinstall as well as answer all my questions on othere issues I was having.

On a scale of 1 to 5 he is off the chart. I highly recommend Toddsrestorations.com and Todd for being honest, his knowledge, skills, and communication.

I look forward to working with him on my next project in the fall.

Thank you Todd!

66 charger cluster rebuild

March 3, 2024

I had Todd rebuild my cluster for my 66 charger it looked like the windshield was leaking on it for years, Todd did an exceptional job on the rebuild, I couldn’t be happier with the finished product, I’ve included a couple of pictures, the one shows how much brighter the dash is after Todd did the rebuild, he also helped me replacing my radio, since the one I had didn’t go to the car, Thanks Todd for the awesome job and all the help

I want to thank Skatpak (Todd’s Restorations) for servicing my power pak for my 67 Dodge Charger and for taking the time ( on a Sunday afternoon) to stay on the phone with me as I trouble-shot my dash wiring, while I was under the dash! His patience and knowledge is invaluable to any Forum member. I was able to trouble shoot my wiring to find that my power pak was not getting the power from the fuse box, which lead us to the headlight switch , terminal H(tan wire). My thanks to Skatpak to talk me thoguh the process of elimination to find the source of my problem. I would recommend Todd’s Restorations to any Mopar member in need of certain repairs but especially the 66-67 Electroluminescent lighting. I have posted a photo of my EL lighting at the end of my phone calls with Todd this past Sunday. Thank you
